Marisa Vickers has made it her life mission to bring the world together through education and global innovation by working for several years in the startup ecosystem. 

Currently, she is the Vice President of Media Relations for Möbius Air, a Formula1 Electric Air Racing Team that focuses on green tech aviation. 

She is also the Community Manager for MassChallenge, a global non-profit startup accelerator, and competition where they give away up to $1M in equity-free funding. 

From 2019-2021 Marisa served as the Board of Directors for RemoteBase, a software engineering company. Prior to that, she was awarded the 2019 Board of Director for the Asian Real Estate Association of Austin and was a mentor for Chick Tech, an organization that prepares high school girls for STEM roles. 

In the past, she has also worked at Girls Who Code as the Austin Regional Partnerships Coordinator, was the Entrepreneurship Coordinator the Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, and was a Marketing Specialist for two military representative companies.

Marisa holds a Master's degree in International Relations. She has studied in France and was awarded the Wilsons Fellowship to research in the Philippines and Cambodia for her thesis, "The Challenge of Education and the Work of Non-Profits in Southeast Asia: Select Case Studies in Cambodia and the Philippines in Modern Times". 

In her freetime, Marisa's ultimate passion is to travel her way through life and learn more about the people and cultures that surround her.
